Conference is focused especially on the following themes:
  ⚬   Development of experimental methods in mechanics, biomechanics and materials engineering;
  ⚬   New methods and applications of deformation, stress and vibration analysis in mechanical, civil and other
       structures;
  ⚬   Experiment as a tool for the verification of analytical and numerical methods;
  ⚬   Experimental research and prediction of strength, life and operational reliability of structures and devices;
  ⚬   Monitoring of operational loadings and operational states of structures and devices;
  ⚬   Methods and means of teaching experimental methods;

Important dates
  ⚬   February 17, 2023 - Start of registration
  ⚬   March 31, 2023 May 05, 2023 - Deadline for the registration and the extended abstract submission
  ⚬   April 17, 2023 April 23, 2023 - Deadline for payment of the reduced conference fee
  ⚬   May 21, 2023 May 31, 2023 - Deadline for the final paper submission
  ⚬   June 6, 2023 - Start of the conference

Young Researchers Competition
A candidate for the Best Young Paper Award must be under 35 years of age, be the first author of the paper, and present the paper orally at the EAN 2023 conference. All applicants wishing to apply for this award should tick this option on the registration form.

Registration
Each participant and accompaying person must register using the online form available here. Each registered participant will be given access to a personal conference account, which allows them to submit abstracts and papers.

Conference fee
  ⚬   before April 23, 2023 – 350 EUR
  ⚬   after April 23, 2023 – 390 EUR

The registration fee covers entrance to the conference EAN 2023, publishing one paper in the conference proceedings, one copy of the proceedings of the extended abstracts, USB key with full papers, refreshments (incl. lunch and dinner), invitation to social evening and participation in the accompanying events. The accommodation of participants is not included in the registration fee. No refunds can be made for cancellations but a participant substitute will be admitted.

Accompanying person fee
The fee for accompanying persons is 180 EUR. The fee includes refreshments, participation in the accompanying events and an invitation to the social evening. Accommodation for accompanying persons is not included in the fee.

Accommodation
Accommodation is arranged individually by each participant and co-participant. More information about accommodation can be found here.
