Discover Košice
Košice is the second largest city in Slovakia and the metropolis of the eastern region. The historical core of Košice is the largest monument reservation in the country. The most artistically and historically valuable buildings are located around the original medieval square - today's Main Street, standing on the remains of the original city. The dominant feature is the largest Gothic cathedral in Slovakia, the Cathedral of St. Elizabeth. In its close proximity are the Chapel of St. Michael, the Urban Tower, the State Theatre, the singing fountain, the Technical Museum and many other important cultural and historical monuments. The main street is the centre of social life in the town. It is lined with palatial and townhouses with cafes, pubs and restaurants. Side streets lead to the Jewish synagogue, Miklusz Prison, the historic walls or Jakab's Palace. We would like to invite you to wander around the centre of Košice with our expert guides. Get to know Košice and enjoy its atmosphere.
